  • Experience working in a kitchen environment
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to create and manage schedules
  • experience with inventory management and cost control
  • physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • sense of urgency and ability to maintain a positive work environment

Job Duties

  • Manage our BOH employees
  • work closely with the Kitchen Manager
  • creating schedules
  • manage labor, food costs and receive inventory
  • organize and clean kitchen
  • wash, prepare, and cut fresh produce
  • execute recipes using various machines and utensils from mixers to choppers and food processors to knives, spatulas and whisks
  • cook food over hot flame equipment in a timely and excellent manner
  • maintain work area in clean and safe way
  • use of deep fryer
