As part of the renowned Westin Hotels & Resorts brand, Westin La Paloma is committed to excellence in every aspect of its operation, from accommodations to dining and spa services. The resort features multiple dining venues, recreational options, and state-of-the-art event spaces, making it a preferred destination for both leisure travelers and business guests.

The role of Kitchen Supervisor at Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa is a full-time position focused on supporting daily kitchen operations to maintain a high standard of food quality and efficient workflow. This role is integral to the culinary team, providing leadership, coordination, and hands-on support to ensure guests enjoy a seamless dining experience. The Kitchen Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring that food preparation, cooking, and plating adhere strictly to the resort’s standards and health regulations. The position demands strong organizational skills, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and team leadership.

As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will oversee daily kitchen activities, ensuring consistency in portion control and food presentation while maintaining compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. You will assist in training and coaching culinary staff, manage scheduling and task assignments, monitor inventory, and help with ordering stock. Your leadership will facilitate smooth team coordination and maintain the kitchen’s cleanliness and organization. Additionally, you will step in as the lead in the absence of senior kitchen management, taking responsibility for operational excellence and guest satisfaction.

This position requires previous kitchen or culinary experience, with supervisory experience preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory, with culinary training or certification regarded as a strong asset. Food Handler Certification is required or must be obtainable upon employment. The role requires flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic and round-the-clock nature of hotel operations.

Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa offers competitive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, company-paid disability and life insurance, employee assistance programs, and a 401(k) plan with matching contributions. Employees benefit from paid vacation and sick time, supplemental benefits, and exclusive employee discounts. HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts, the parent company, is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring a respectful and discrimination-free workplace environment.
