The opportunity available is for a full-time Kitchen Supervisor, a pivotal role within the food production team. The Kitchen Supervisor will oversee the set-up and food production areas within the kitchen to maximize productivity while ensuring the highest food quality standards are maintained. This role is essential in aligning kitchen operations with the established guest service and sustainability standards of HHM Hotels. The Kitchen Supervisor plays a critical part in supporting the culinary team, promoting good housekeeping practices, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and fostering an environment that upholds the HHM Hotels core values. This position involves supervising, training, and coaching kitchen associates to perform at their best, while maintaining smooth kitchen operations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Any combination of education, training or experience demonstrating ability to perform duties
  • Previous supervisory experience is a plus
  • Ability to work varied schedule including holidays and weekends
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates
  • Inspect daily use records with the Executive Chef or Sous Chef
  • Pull all food needed for daily production from walk-in box and utilize all leftovers
  • Maintain and supervise good housekeeping practices in all kitchen areas
  • Inspect all work stations and ensure proper set-up for all meals
  • Prepare daily production charts
  • Attend associate meetings and offer solutions to problems
  • Follow sustainability guidelines and practices
  • Practice safe work habits and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
