The role of Kitchen Supervisor at Delaware North Sportservice located at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is a full-time position offering $18.00 per hour. The Kitchen Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced food service environment. This position involves supervising and supporting dishwashers and porters under the Sous Chef's direction while ensuring that all kitchen operations adhere to Delaware North's standards. The ideal candidate will take pride in delivering quality service and food to guests, contributing to a culinary experience that stands out. Responsibilities include preparing food items and kitchen utensils according to quality standards, enforcing sanitation procedures, maintaining proper food temperatures, and ensuring that workstations and equipment are clean and organized.

This position involves performing opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned. The Kitchen Supervisor will work flexible schedules that may include days, events, weekdays, and weekends. The role demands physical stamina to stand and walk throughout shifts, with regular reaching, twisting, bending, and occasionally pushing and pulling equipment.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year previous experience in a back-of-the-house food-service position preferred
  • High school education desired
  • Participation or enrollment in a culinary program preferred
  • Familiarity and experience with knife handling preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry large pans up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire length of shift
  • Ability to handle and operate dangerous kitchen equipment
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to chop, mix, blend, whip foods and liquids
  • Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
  • Availability to work flexible schedules including days, events, weekdays, and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school education desired

Job Duties

  • Aid in the supervision and observation of performance for the dishwashers and porters under the direction of the Sous Chef
  • Ensure food items and kitchen utensils are prepared according to Delaware North standards of quality, consistency, and timelines
  • Maintain and enforce sanitation procedures and organization of the work area
  • Utilize and sanitize kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, whisks, pots, pans, warmers, steamers, grills, ovens
  • Ensure proper food temperatures are maintained and food is stored correctly
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines
  • Ensure workstation and equipment are clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
  • Meet all health department standards for safe food handling and operate equipment safely, determined by position and OSHA regulations
