Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of professional kitchen experience preferred
  • Culinary training is preferred
  • ServSafe certification preferred or must complete Cinépolis certification

Job Duties

  • Prepare menu items accurately and promptly when ordered through point of sale system
  • Make only ordered items and maintain integrity in order preparation
  • Accommodate special requests with management approval to enhance guest experience
  • Prepare dishes according to recipes to ensure quality and consistency
  • Coordinate cooking with kitchen staff to deliver food timely and at high quality
  • Remake items when instructed by supervisors or managers
  • Adhere strictly to food safety guidelines including temperature control, proper labeling, and avoiding cross-contamination
  • Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes and cleaning work area during and after shift
  • Stock kitchen with dry products and prep materials consistently
  • Use FIFO system to maintain food freshness and reduce waste
  • Maintain accurate waste logs for discarded items
  • Update supervisors and kitchen manager on inventory levels
  • Maintain professional and positive interactions with coworkers and customers
  • Follow safety practices including use of cutting gloves and safe lifting
  • Secure food and equipment
  • Follow all operational procedures including opening, mid, and closing tasks
  • Attend trainings and meetings
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed
