Job Description
Stepping Stones Learning Center is a well-established childcare organization located in Neenah, Wisconsin, dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for young children. As a center committed to fostering early childhood development through quality care and education, Stepping Stones Learning Center places a strong emphasis on creating a safe, clean, and welcoming space for children to learn, grow, and thrive. The center values teamwork, reliability, and dedication in its staff, ensuring that every aspect of the children’s care contributes positively to their overall experience.
We are currently seeking a Kitchen Staff member to join our team on a full-time basis, working Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM. This role is essential in supporting our daily food service operations, focusing on preparing and serving meals that meet the nutritional needs of the children in our care. The Kitchen Staff position does not require a background in early childhood education but demands reliability, organization, and a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
As part of the team, the chosen candidate will take pride in contributing to a well-run kitchen by preparing and serving breakfast and snacks, as well as handling lunch components prepared offsite. Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing dishes and kitchen equipment, managing bib laundry loads, and ensuring that the kitchen remains clean and orderly throughout the day. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys being part of a team supporting young children and takes pride in food safety and kitchen hygiene.
The role offers a stable work schedule with no nights or weekends, making it ideal for individuals seeking a consistent routine. Stepping Stones Learning Center values its employees and offers benefits such as paid leave, sick leave, a retirement plan, and paid holidays, providing a supportive work environment with comprehensive benefits. We encourage candidates who appreciate a structured, family-friendly workplace to apply and become part of our dedicated team. Our hiring process is ongoing, reflecting our commitment to always bringing on board dependable and capable individuals ready to make a positive impact.
