Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation
- Continuous standing, bending, and lifting up to 60 pounds
- Ability to read and understand English
- Ability to measure ingredients accurately by weight and volume
- Must be able to operate slicer (if 18 or older)
- Ability to hear and respond to kitchen calls
- Willingness to adhere to dress code including black non-skid shoes, long black pants, hair restrained and clean
- Must follow grooming standards including clean hair and fingernails
- Follow all health and safety rules
- Able to multitask in a high-volume fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to read recipes and tickets in English
- Must successfully complete station certification and food safety testing
- Previous kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Duties
- Arrives at work on time, well-groomed in clean uniform
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and willingness to help
- Follows safety, sanitation, and employee guidelines
- Completes duties assigned from day prep sheet
- Sets up Sani-buckets and maintains clean work area
- Follows proper food rotation and labeling
- Adheres to recipes and preparation procedures
- Practices clean as you go to avoid cross-contamination
- Completes daily line checklist for shift readiness
- Operates fryers, grills, slicers, and other kitchen equipment
- Uses scales and calibrates bio-thermometers for portion control
- Assists with checking in, unloading, and storing deliveries
- Dumps trash and cardboard in designated receptacles
- Helps other employees complete tasks during shifts
