The role of Sanitation Supervisor at National Food Distributor is crucial in maintaining a clean, orderly, and sanitized production facility. Reporting directly to the Kitchen/Cheese QA Manager, the Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for leading the sanitation team members by utilizing their expertise in sanitation to ensure all equipment and production areas are cleaned to the highest food safety and quality standards. The role requires oversight of the Master Sanitation Schedule to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed, documented, and verified in a timely manner. The Sanitation Supervisor actively participates in resolving sanitation deficiencies, monitoring housekeeping and cleanliness in all areas including production spaces, aisles, break rooms, bathrooms, and offices. The candidate must ensure all safety policies are adhered to, including proper chemical training and application.

This position demands a strong ability to communicate effectively with team members and management to maintain sanitation quality and standards, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement. The Sanitation Supervisor will attend daily departmental startup meetings and maintain a sharp eye for detail to meet or exceed expectations set by the QA Supervisor. Additionally, the role involves managing in-house equipment damage costs through employee awareness and discipline. This full-time, contract position offers a competitive annual salary of $85,141.94, with benefits such as life insurance and opportunities for advancement. Candidates must be flexible to work any shift, including early mornings, weekends, and overtime as required. This role primarily operates in a refrigerated environment with temperatures between 32 to 36 degrees Fahrenheit, requiring physical endurance and the ability to stand for extended periods.
