This opportunity is for a position on the Alamo Production Crew, which comprises the entire kitchen team and serves as the heartbeat of the theater. The role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of culinary service that Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is known for. Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at one time and repeatedly during entire shift
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays (minimum 3 days a week, at least one day being a weekend)
  • Ability to move with caution and operate in a busy, sometimes loud environment
  • Stays up-to-date on local food compliance regulations, safety courses, and assigned online trainings
  • Reliable transportation

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in high volume restaurant environment
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • Prepares and plates Alamo menu items according to our recipes and specs
  • Trained and available to work different stations as assigned including dish, prep, fry, salad, grill, pizza
  • Responsible for cleaning, organization, and maintenance of all equipment and dishwashing areas as assigned including deep cleanings and sidework checklists
  • Prepares guest food orders focusing on safety, quality, accuracy and efficiency
  • Restocks supplies, completes prep and side work, assists with operational tasks for efficient service
  • Supports delivery and organization of food and beverage orders as needed
  • Upholds standards of behavior defined by company Core Values and Operational Guidelines
  • Maintains food safety and health standards in line with company processes and local regulations
  • Exercises exceptional attention to allergy and cross-contamination protocols
  • Utilizes proper equipment for all food preparation as per Alamo operation protocols
  • Adheres to standard kitchen cleaning, prep and stocking schedules to control food waste and maintain food quality
  • Communicates kitchen needs, concerns and urgent matters with teammates and managers
  • Maintains a positive, respectful workplace
  • Follows all handwashing and hygiene practices
