This role as a Kitchen Prep Employee is an essential position within the culinary team, responsible for preparing a broad range of food products including chicken salads, pimento cheese, side salads, soups, sauces, cookies, desserts, and other offerings as per company specifications. The successful candidate will follow strict adherence to brand and company recipe standards, speed of service goals, and ensure all kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards are rigorously maintained. This role requires responsibility for preparing products using various equipment and utensils, ensuring consistency in taste, appearance, and portion sizes. The position supports both the opening and closing of the kitchen, completing detailed prep checklists, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment to support food safety guidelines.

In addition to food preparation duties, the Kitchen Prep Employee will be expected to participate in regular employee meetings and contribute constructive suggestions for operational improvements. Job Duties

  • always adhere to brand standards for uniform appearance and personal grooming
  • completes duties on opening and closing prep and checklists
  • refers to daily prep list at the start of each shift for assigned duties
  • prepares a variety of food products including chicken salads, pimento cheese, side salads, soups, sauces, cookies, desserts, and other items for cooking/serving to guest according to csc recipe and product standards
  • understands and complies consistently with csc standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures
  • maintains a clean and sanitary work station including tables, shelves, walls, steamer, kitchen and refrigeration equipment
  • closes the kitchen properly, following the closing checklist for kitchen and assists others in closing the kitchen
