Job Duties

  • Perform many basic tasks of food preparation and organization in the kitchen
  • prepares dishes following recipe specifications as assigned by cook supervisor
  • ensures proper storage of daily deliveries and foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures
  • follow food safety and sanitation regulations maintaining correct temperatures cooking, cooling, and storing
  • ensure that a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained by following cleaning routines and thorough ongoing diligence during shift and in set-up and clean down procedures
  • clean designated work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • assist in other areas of the store as necessary
