Job Duties
- Perform many basic tasks of food preparation and organization in the kitchen
- prepare dishes following recipe specifications as assigned by cook supervisor
- ensure proper storage of daily deliveries and foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures
- follow food safety and sanitation regulations maintaining correct temperatures cooking, cooling, and storing
- ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained by following cleaning routines and thorough ongoing diligence during shift and in set-up and clean down procedures
- clean designated work areas, equipment, and utensils
- assist in other areas of the store as necessary
