Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, stands as a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, proudly operating iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment is dedicated to creating joyful, lasting memories through fun, food, and play. The company embraces a culture of diversity and inclusion while placing immense importance on the safety and satisfaction of its guests and employees. Chuck E. Cheese celebrates more than half a million birthdays annually and has a strong commitment to community support and innovation, donating over $24 million to schools and nonprofits. Recognized for industry leadership in both employee well-being and STEM education, Chuck E. Cheese was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces and received the “Best in STEM” award in 2025.
The role of Kitchen Prep and Utility Team Member at Peter Piper Pizza offers an exciting entry into the fast-paced world of restaurant operations, ideal for individuals who thrive in high-energy, team-oriented environments. This position is crucial for feeding the fun by preparing customer orders and assisting with food preparation while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. As a team member, you will have the opportunity to learn multiple facets of restaurant operations, including guest service, food handling, and cash register operation. Commissions are an attractive element of this role, with commission potential ranging from $0.50 to $10.00 per Membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass (for exempt employees), and higher ranges for non-exempt employees. These commissions are paid out bi-weekly, providing employees with a unique incentive for their sales performance.
CEC Entertainment champions its team members’ growth, with 70% of the management team promoted from within, demonstrating a strong commitment to career development. The company also offers innovative pay solutions such as the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, ensuring employees can access their earned wages immediately rather than waiting for traditional pay periods.
Kitchen Prep and Utility Team Members will take on important responsibilities such as preparing food products according to customer orders, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, stocking and unloading supplies, and sometimes operating the point of sale terminal. This role requires collaborating closely with team members to ensure that every guest leaves happy. The environment encourages fast, efficient work and values those who can seamlessly work together to enhance the guest experience.
Comprehensive benefits available to employees include telemedicine services, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program, tuition savings and scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees may access fixed indemnity medical coverage, plus dental, vision, voluntary life, and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees earning 29.5 or more hours per week qualify for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays where applicable, FSA/HSA options, life and disability insurances, voluntary benefits, legal coverage, and additional education and student loan support.
CEC Entertainment is committed to compliance with all applicable state and local laws, including paid sick leave and other mandated benefits, and fosters an inclusive workplace culture without discrimination on any legally protected basis. Reasonable accommodations are made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions, further underscoring CEC's dedication to diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being. Join CEC Entertainment, where you can build your career around great food, family, and fun in a welcoming environment dedicated to safety, growth, and making a positive impact in communities worldwide.
