Warehouse BBQ is seeking a motivated and hardworking part-time Back-of-House Team Member to join their dynamic kitchen staff. This role is essential to keeping the behind-the-scenes engine running smoothly. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in prep work that lays the foundation for exceptional barbecue. Responsibilities include preparing meats such as trimming briskets and deboning smoked turkeys, meticulous cleaning and prep of various ingredients, and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of prep stations. The position requires someone who is reliable, organized, and energetic, with the willingness to get their hands dirty and support the team wherever needed. Warehouse BBQ values individuals who show up early, remain focused, follow instructions diligently, and contribute to a positive team environment. While prior kitchen experience is preferred, it is not mandatory, allowing new culinary enthusiasts an opportunity to grow and learn in a high-volume, family-owned kitchen setting. Job Duties
- Remove feathers from raw chicken wings
- Peel membrane off ribs and trim briskets
- Pull smoked pork and chicken (no shortcuts - get it clean!)
- Debone smoked turkey and chop for service
- Peel and cut potatoes, onions, and peppers
- Sauté onions and peppers to smoky perfection
- Boil noodles for our famous smoked mac & cheese
- Wash dishes and keep prep stations clean and organized
- Follow a prep list, manage time, and maintain food safety standards
- Jump in wherever needed - this is a team sport!
