Job Duties
- Wash, peel, chop, and prepare vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients according to recipe specifications
- Measure and portion ingredients accurately to assist chefs in meal preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen prep area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and storage of food items
- Dispose of waste properly and adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Support the culinary team by promptly responding to requests and helping with basic cooking tasks as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or quality issues to supervisors
