The Visiting Clubhouse Kitchen Porter role is integral to maintaining the high standards expected within the clubhouse environment at American Family Field. This position supports the sous chef by ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting typical of professional sports venues. Key responsibilities include dish and pot washing, general cleaning, restocking snacks and beverages, and inventory management. This support work is essential to the smooth operation of game-day services and player support, contributing to the overall success of the team’s behind-the-scenes efforts.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be available to work weekdays weeknights and weekends during baseball season
  • Must be available to arrive up to three hours prior to game time
  • Physical ability to perform dishwashing and cleaning duties
  • Ability to follow local health and safety regulations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Three to six months of experience or training in the service industry
  • Ability to work weekdays weeknights and weekends during baseball season
  • Ability to arrive up to three hours prior to game time
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Passion for baseball and sports environment
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods and lifting

Job Duties

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment ensuring compliance with local health department regulations
  • Perform dish and pot washing general cleaning duties and organization of kitchen equipment and food storage areas
  • Distribute and store clean pots dishes and utensils in designated areas
  • Restock and inventory snacks drinks coffee and other items in the dining area
  • Support food preparation and inventory management tasks
  • Assist sous chef with maintaining organization in kitchen work areas
  • Adhere to safety and hygiene standards
