Job Description

Our company operates within a professional office environment, committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in its facilities. We understand that a clean and well-maintained kitchen and break area contribute significantly to employee satisfaction, productivity, and overall workplace morale. As a result, we are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our team and support these goals on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This is a part-time position, offering an hourly rate of $17.50. The role requires a committed individual who thrives working independently and pays great attention to detail, ensuring that our kitchen and break areas are always in pristine condition.

The Kitchen Porter plays a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our office kitchen and associated break areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties focused on maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, such as washing dishes and utensils, cleaning kitchen surfaces, and ensuring all appliances are spotless and functional. Additionally, restocking supplies like coffee, tea, and cutlery will be part of daily tasks, alongside the proper disposal of waste to ensure a hygienic environment. This role may also require assisting with light food preparation for meetings or events, adding versatility to the position.

The position demands a reliable individual who can uphold our company’s professional standards, work independently, and maintain a high level of organization. While proficiency in English is not mandatory, it is highly recommended as it improves communication with colleagues and helps ensure a smooth workflow. The nature of the duties requires someone physically fit, capable of standing for the entire shift, and able to perform various physical tasks such as bending, twisting, lifting up to 35 pounds, and operating cleaning equipment. The role offers a supportive and inclusive work environment, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to contribute directly to the workplace's cleanliness and efficiency while working a consistent Saturday schedule. If you are detail-oriented, dependable, and have a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply and become an essential member of our team.
