Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as walking, climbing stairs, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, stretching, and twisting

Job Duties

  • Operate dishwashing machine and 3-compartment sinks to clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other kitchen surfaces
  • sweep, mop, and clean kitchen floors to maintain cleanliness and sanitation
  • remove trash and garbage to designated disposal areas
  • transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, such as pantry and dish room
  • clean kitchen equipment using specified chemicals to meet sanitation standards
  • assist with basic food preparation and pot washing
  • adhere to all health, food safety, and sanitation regulations at all times
  • follow safety procedures for operating and cleaning machinery
  • participate in safety meetings, trainings, and hazard assessments as required
  • may perform other duties as assigned by the Sports Center Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef
