As a Kitchen Operations Supervisor at Wonder, you will hold a crucial role that bridges kitchen management with frontline customer service. This position involves overseeing kitchen activities to ensure that every meal meets Wonder's high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will guide the team through opening, preparation, service, and closing duties to deliver a flawless dining experience. This role offers both full-time and part-time schedules with varying shifts, including overnight work, and provides competitive compensation at $21 per hour with an additional premium for late-night hours.

Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older and legally eligible to work in the US
  • ability to lift 50 pounds
  • capacity to stand for a full shift
  • availability for evenings overnights and weekends
  • Food Manager Certification as mandated by local health regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory role in quick service or full-service restaurants
  • ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Lead the team in all service aspects including opening prep and closing duties
  • collaborate with the chef leadership team and other departments to ensure guests receive exceptional service
  • handle kitchen orders and deliveries according to company standards
  • maintain stock communication with restaurant staff to ensure adequate supplies
  • enforce safety sanitation and hygiene practices in all back-of-house areas
  • monitor kitchen operational costs while adhering to budget guidelines
  • ensure kitchen equipment is used safely and is in good working order
  • conduct briefings with front and back-of-house staff before and after service
  • uphold all operating and quality standards
  • exhibit professional and ethical leadership
  • participate in training and development for restaurant employees
