The role of Kitchen Manager/Chef at Resurgence Brewing Company is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining and elevating the brewery's culinary offerings and overall kitchen operations. Reporting directly to the Culinary Operations Manager, the Kitchen Manager/Chef is responsible for leading and supervising all aspects of the kitchen, including staff management and training, menu creation, inventory control, and purchasing. The successful candidate must foster a team-focused atmosphere that prioritizes a people-first mentality, promotes creativity, and encourages a clean, supportive work environment. With evening and weekend availability being essential, this role demands flexibility and a high level of dedication to ensure maximum kitchen efficiency even during busy periods or large banquet events.
This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging between $50,000 and $60,000, commensurate with the candidate's experience and education. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of food handling experience, supervisory skills, and a proactive attitude toward adapting to fast-paced, fluctuating operational demands. Additionally, having ServSafe certification is considered a valuable asset.
