Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior kitchen management experience
  • certification in safe food handling
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to work in fast-paced, physically demanding environments
  • proficiency in computer software related to food service management
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Club Point of Sales systems
  • excellent knowledge of back of house systems, ordering, and inventory
  • communication and leadership skills
  • safe food handling certification
  • experience managing kitchen staff
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • culinary expertise

Job Duties

  • Operate kitchen within budgeted payroll and adjust as sales vary
  • direct kitchen staff in meal preparation, creation, plating, and delivery
  • develop and follow standards to ensure consistency in food taste and presentation
  • familiarize restaurant staff with key ingredients, preparation, and taste of menu items
  • work closely with front of house service team to ensure expedient ticket times and proper plate presentation
  • obtain feedback on food and service quality and address customer problems and complaints
  • incorporate safe work practices and safe food handling standards
  • train staff to high standards of culinary programs
  • procure all products for food operations
  • prepare team schedule to be posted weekly
  • lead kitchen team with positivity
