We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house operations. This key leadership role is designed for someone who values upholding high culinary standards, maintaining food safety protocols, and fostering a positive and productive team environment. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring that food quality, safety, and presentation standards are consistently met. You will supervise and support kitchen staff, ensuring speed, accuracy, and efficiency in food preparation and service while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment.

This role involves a comprehensive range of duties including managing inventory, controlling food costs, ordering supplies, conducting regular line checks, and holding pre-shift meetings to align team expectations. You will also lead initiatives on training and cross-training team members to build a versatile, high-performing kitchen crew that embodies a culture of urgency, accountability, and teamwork. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with food safety regulations and allergy protocols, as well as enforce cleaning and sanitation programs necessary to maintain health and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience in kitchen management or culinary leadership, strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and business metrics related to food, service, and guest experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn software such as POS, HR, and inventory management systems is highly valued. Excellent problem-solving, organizational skills, and strong communication abilities are essential for success in this position. Furthermore, the ability to physically meet the demands of the kitchen environment, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds, is required. Spanish language skills are considered an asset but are not mandatory.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills Spanish language skills a plus
