The Nutrition Group is currently seeking a Kitchen Manager for School Food Service. This pivotal role involves managing food production and overseeing staff training in a large K-12 school cafeteria environment. The position ensures the effective operation of nutrition programs aligned with national standards such as the National School Breakfast Program and the National School Lunch Program. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, managing kitchen equipment, and ensuring compliance with company food concepts and expectations. This role includes documenting daily production records and paperwork, facilitating catered events when required, and collaborating with regional chefs to develop and implement recipes that enhance the nutritional offerings available to students.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1-2 years staff management experience
- Experience in food service
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to obtain necessary clearances and pass criminal background checks
