Job Description

Casey's is a well-established and reputable convenience store chain known for its commitment to quality service and community-focused operations. With numerous locations across multiple states, Casey's has built a strong brand recognized for delivering convenience with a friendly touch. The company places a high value on operational excellence and customer satisfaction, striving to create a positive and engaging experience for every guest who walks through their doors. Casey's provides a supportive work environment for its employees, offering career growth opportunities and a culture that promotes teamwork and respect among its team members.

As a Kitchen Manager at Casey's, you will take on a pivotal role within the store leadership team, working closely with the Store Manager to ensure that the kitchen operates efficiently and effectively on a daily basis. This role is deeply hands-on, requiring you to lead, train, and motivate kitchen team members to meet high standards of food safety and guest service. Your responsibilities will span from managing prepared foods and dispensed beverage areas to maintaining accurate kitchen inventory and driving productivity and profitability. The Kitchen Manager is integral to maintaining the 5S standards within the kitchen—organized, clean, and safe environments that enhance overall performance.

This full-time position offers competitive pay with a starting range between $18 and $20.70 per hour, which may vary based on the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and qualifications, as well as local market factors. In addition, the role is eligible for quarterly bonuses tied to kitchen performance, providing financial incentives for success. Casey's also supports its employees with a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with company match, and various development programs to help you grow your career. Employee discounts and access to DailyPay further enhance the overall compensation and work experience.

The Kitchen Manager position demands strong leadership and communication skills, operational expertise, and a commitment to the company’s values, known as Casey's CARES—Commitment, Authenticity, Respect, Evolving, and Service. You will be expected to act as a role model, embodying these values in all interactions while ensuring guest satisfaction and team success. Your ability to handle the pressures of a fast-paced kitchen environment, adapt to changing priorities, and solve problems proactively will be critical for excelling in this role. Ultimately, you will be a key contributor to the store’s success and a vital point of contact between the kitchen team and store management.
