As a Kitchen Manager at Casey's, you will play a vital part in the store's daily operations by managing the kitchen team and food service areas with a focus on both productivity and guest satisfaction. Your primary responsibilities will include training and engaging kitchen Team Members, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, overseeing inventory management, and collaborating closely with the Store Manager. Your leadership will influence the performance of the prepared foods and dispensed beverages areas, driving improvements that optimize operational efficiency and profitability. This full-time, onsite position provides competitive pay ranging from $18.00 to $20.70 per hour, supplemented with quarterly bonus opportunities based on kitchen performance.

Your role as a Kitchen Manager will also involve maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization according to the 5S methodology, promoting Casey's CARES values of Commitment, Authenticity, Respect, Evolving, and Service throughout the kitchen operations. This position demands a hands-on leader who can actively participate in store duties when needed, ensuring seamless service and rapid problem resolution. Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in kitchen management or food service leadership preferred

  • Proficiency in inventory management and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Actively train, guide, and engage kitchen Team Members, delegate tasks effectively, and coach for success
  • Under the supervision of the Store Manager, manage and influence operational activities in prepared foods and dispensed beverages to optimize performance
  • Partner with the Store Manager to be accountable for all kitchen activities, maintaining 5S standards, and ensuring smooth daily operations
  • Oversee kitchen inventory and maintain accurate stock levels
  • Anticipate and resolve guest concerns related to kitchen service, keeping the Store Manager informed
  • Model and coach to Casey's CARES values: Commitment, Authenticity, Respect, Evolving, Service
  • Proficiently perform Store Team Member duties when needed
