As a Kitchen Manager at Casey's, you will play a critical hands-on leadership role within the store leadership team. This position requires you to work closely with the Store Manager to train, guide, and engage kitchen Team Members to deliver an outstanding guest experience daily. Your responsibilities will encompass managing the day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring strict adherence to food safety standards, overseeing kitchen inventory to maintain optimal stock levels, and driving productivity and profitability within the prepared foods and dispensed beverage areas. You will also be tasked with maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen through 5S standards and actively resolving guest concerns relating to kitchen service.

This role offers a starting pay range of $18.00 to $20.70 per hour, with actual pay varying based on your knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience, and education. Additionally, this position is eligible for quarterly bonuses tied to kitchen performance, offering financial incentives for exceptional leadership and operational success. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Actively train, guide, and engage kitchen Team Members, delegate tasks effectively, and coach for success
  • Under the supervision of the Store Manager, manage and influence operational activities in prepared foods and dispensed beverages to optimize performance
  • Partner with the Store Manager to be accountable for all kitchen activities, maintaining 5S standards, and ensuring smooth daily operations
  • Oversee kitchen inventory and maintain accurate stock levels
  • Anticipate and resolve guest concerns related to kitchen service, keeping the Store Manager informed
  • Model and coach to Casey's CARES values: Commitment, Authenticity, Respect, Evolving, Service
  • Proficiently perform Store Team Member duties when needed
