Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 plus years of kitchen management or supervisory experience
  • Valid NYC food protection certificate or ServSafe certificate
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage inventory and control costs
  • Availability to work in person at the NYC location

Job Qualifications

  • 2 plus years of experience as a kitchen manager or kitchen supervisor
  • Catering experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and train kitchen staff
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
  • NYC food protection certificate or ServSafe certificate

Job Duties

  • Oversee all kitchen operations including prep, production, and service
  • Manage and train kitchen staff, schedule shifts and coaching
  • Ensure consistent food quality, portioning, and presentation
  • Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health department compliance
  • Control food and labor costs, manage inventory and ordering
  • Collaborate with ownership and management on menus and operational improvements
  • Enforce kitchen policies, procedures, and standards
  • Oversee execution of all catering orders
