The role of Kitchen Manager in Training at Parker's Kitchen offers a unique opportunity for aspiring leaders to develop and refine their management skills within a dynamic kitchen environment. As a Kitchen Manager in Training, you will support the Kitchen Manager by overseeing daily kitchen operations, maintaining efficient workflows, and ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met. This role involves hands-on inventory management, including weekly inventory counts and cost of sales reporting, to help maintain budget adherence. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience in food service or demonstrated Parker's experience
  • at least 16 years of age upon hire date
  • reliable transportation
  • Food Safety Certification completion within first month
  • skills-based certification completion within first 120 days
  • ability to work varied hours, days, and shifts as needed
  • physical ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours
  • ability to perform repeated bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • ability to push or pull up to 50 pounds
  • comfort working in wet, temperature fluctuating, and noisy environments

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience in food service operations or demonstrated experience in food service operations with Parker's
  • ability to stand for extended periods up to 8 to 10 hours
  • ability to multitask and perform repeated bending, standing, reaching
  • ability to lift and push or pull up to 50 pounds
  • comfortable working in environments with wet floors, temperature fluctuations, and loud noise levels
  • completion of Food Safety Certification within the first month of employment
  • completion of a skills-based certification within the first 120 days of employment
  • must be at least 16 years of age upon hire

Job Duties
