The Kitchen Manager at Prime Pizza is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the daily culinary operations within a fast-paced and dynamic restaurant setting. This position involves managing the back of house team to ensure the consistent delivery of top-quality food and an outstanding guest experience, aligning with the brand's high standards and operational guidelines. Offering a competitive annual salary range of $70,000 to $80,000, the role also includes a quarterly bonus starting at 10%, incentivizing performance excellence.
In this leadership role, the Kitchen Manager must ensure adherence to company policies and health regulations, maintain facility cleanliness and safety, manage inventory and food purchasing efficiently, and develop recipes and production standards that reflect the brand's commitment to quality. The manager will collaborate closely with the General Manager to oversee staffing levels, provide team training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and support financial management activities including payroll and budgeting. The role demands a hands-on leader capable of fostering a culture of inclusion, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Additionally, the Kitchen Manager plays an integral role in driving financial performance by controlling food and labor costs and analyzing operational reports such as monthly profit and loss statements. The role demands flexibility regarding working hours, including weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late evenings, with shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours. This physically demanding position requires the ability to stand for long periods and handle lifting tasks of up to 50 pounds.

Job Requirements
- College degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of kitchen management experience
- Experience with team leadership and development
- Knowledge of inventory management and food safety standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Capable of standing for up to 10 hours and lifting up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- College degree in business or related field or at least 3 years of kitchen management
- Experience training, developing, and leading teams of 15-20 employees
- Experience in ordering, receiving, and controlling inventory preferred
- Strong communication and team player skills
- High level of accountability
- Excellent basic math skills
- Ability to operate POS system

- Deliver highest level of execution for guest experience and product quality
- Ensure kitchen follows company guidelines and best practices

- Conduct weekly staff meetings to identify improvement opportunities and recognize achievements
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety in collaboration with General Manager
- Manage food purchasing, inventory control, and food handling practices
- Develop and maintain recipes and production standards
- Hire and maintain staffing levels within financial guidelines
- Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations for team members
- Support payroll and timekeeping processes
- Drive financial performance by managing controllable food and labor costs
- Conduct inventory reporting and review monthly financial statements
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
