The role of Kitchen Manager at Prime Pizza is a pivotal position responsible for overseeing the daily culinary operations to ensure the highest standards of food quality and guest experience are met. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 per year, complemented by a quarterly bonus starting at 10 percent, reflecting the importance of achieving financial and operational goals. The Kitchen Manager leads the back-of-house team, directing food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Beyond operational oversight, this role is charged with fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, developing staff through training and coaching, and managing inventory and purchasing within established budgets. The Kitchen Manager collaborates closely with the General Manager to uphold company policies, drive performance, and cultivate a high-performing team committed to excellence. Responsibilities also include leading weekly staff meetings, implementing recipe standards, and analyzing financial performance to optimize costs and profitability. Candidates must be prepared to work shifts that may range from 8 to 12 hours, including weekends and holidays, in a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant setting. Job Requirements

  • be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 10 hours
  • be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • willingness to work shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours including weekends and holidays
  • follow safety and sanitation rules and laws at all times
  • possess strong leadership and coaching abilities

Job Qualifications

  • college degree in business or related field or at least 3 years of kitchen management experience
  • experience training, developing, and leading teams of 15-20 employees
  • ordering, receiving, and controlling inventory experience preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • team player
  • high level of accountability
  • excellent basic math skills
  • ability to operate a POS system
