Job Requirements
- be able to work standing for up to 10 hours
- be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- available to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late evenings
- ability to follow safety and sanitation rules and laws
- experience in kitchen or restaurant management
- strong leadership and coaching skills
- effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- college degree in business or related field or at least 3 years of kitchen management
- experience in training, developing, and leading teams of 15-20 employees
- experience with ordering, receiving, and controlling inventory preferred
- strong communication skills and ability to work as a team player
- high level of accountability
- excellent basic math skills and ability to operate POS systems
Job Duties
- manage daily culinary operations to ensure high-quality food production
- direct and lead the back of house team to deliver superior guest experiences
- maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and ensure cleanliness of kitchen facilities
- oversee purchasing, inventory control, and food handling practices
- develop and maintain recipes and production standards for all menu items
- conduct staff training, coaching, and performance reviews
- monitor and manage food and labor costs to achieve financial goals
