Job Requirements

  • be able to work standing for up to 10 hours
  • be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • available to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late evenings
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation rules and laws
  • experience in kitchen or restaurant management
  • strong leadership and coaching skills
  • effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • college degree in business or related field or at least 3 years of kitchen management
  • experience in training, developing, and leading teams of 15-20 employees
  • experience with ordering, receiving, and controlling inventory preferred
  • strong communication skills and ability to work as a team player
  • high level of accountability
  • excellent basic math skills and ability to operate POS systems

Job Duties

  • manage daily culinary operations to ensure high-quality food production
  • direct and lead the back of house team to deliver superior guest experiences
  • maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and ensure cleanliness of kitchen facilities
  • oversee purchasing, inventory control, and food handling practices
  • develop and maintain recipes and production standards for all menu items
  • conduct staff training, coaching, and performance reviews
  • monitor and manage food and labor costs to achieve financial goals
