We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager / Chef to join our talented team. This leadership position plays a crucial role in supporting our Managing Partner and Regional leadership to ensure seamless restaurant operations. The Kitchen Manager / Chef is primarily responsible for directing all Back of House (BOH) functions, mentoring a skilled BOH team, and maintaining the highest levels of food quality and sanitation compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for motivating team members to excel. This role demands a proactive leader who can enforce company policies, drive operational efficiency, and contribute to a positive, engaging workplace culture.
The Kitchen Manager / Chef will take the lead in implementing and overseeing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness standards. A vital aspect of this position includes adhering to food safety regulations, ensuring food is prepared, stored, and served according to industry best practices. This role also involves hands-on mentorship and training of BOH staff to foster skill development and uphold the company’s standards. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in kitchen management or chef role
- Food Manager Protection Certification

Job Duties
- Delegate and give direction to diligently complete tasks

- complete assigned shift duties
- keep work and station areas clean
- adhere to industry standards for food preparation, serving, and storage

- assign cleaning duties as needed
- ensure food preparation for next shift is complete
- accurately complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning lists
- assist with training of all back of house personnel
