Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service preferred
- Serve Safe Certification required
- ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- capacity to lift and transport hot food items frequently
- ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong communication skills
- ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties
- Lead and assist in preparation of food items for the day and dating products
- coordinate and assist in setting up and breaking down stations designated by the manager
- cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions
- use accurate portions when preparing and serving items on the line
- maintain daily temperature logs
- take samples of all food items on the line prior to serving customers
- alert management and pull food items that do not meet quality expectations
- complete opening and closing station checklists
- greet customers as they approach and leave the serving line
- ask customers about the quality of their service and handle complaints while maintaining a positive attitude
- coordinate and assist in maintaining a clean work station including floors, work areas, equipment, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks
- ensure all work areas and serving utensils are cleaned and sanitized
- dispose of waste from the service line accurately
- transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or cart
- assist with daily safety observations and report hazards to management
- cross-train in areas as needed
- work in concessions, catering, and special events as required by manager
- perform tasks as requested by manager or supervisors
- lead employees on the line to ensure timely and effective customer service
- request support from utility workers for sanitation issues as needed
