Currently, Lunds & Byerlys St Louis Park is hiring a full-time Food Service Manager who will play a pivotal role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for customers. This position offers a competitive wage range of $22.50 to $27.25 per hour and requires a flexible schedule with shifts between 6:00 am and 7:00 pm. The role includes working one 4:00 am shift per month for inventory purposes, reflecting the operational needs of the business. The Food Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations within the food service department, ensuring high standards for product quality, inventory management, and team leadership. This individual will lead, coach, mentor, and train employees to maintain excellent service and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, developing daily and weekly menus, monitoring inventory levels, managing sales and shrink, evaluating product quality and selection, analyzing financial data, and maintaining department cleanliness. The ideal candidate will be a team player who steps in to help where needed, show respect and empathy towards customers and team members, be innovative by implementing trending retail solutions, and foster a hospitable environment by providing a friendly and welcoming presence.
This role demands strong knowledge of food preparation and service, retail operations, and financial reporting. Proficiency in computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, is necessary.
