The role being offered is a Back of House (BOH) Manager position responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, maintaining seamless food preparation and cooking workflows, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. The BOH Manager will play a pivotal role in managing sales, profitability, and guest counts by directly influencing the quality and efficiency of kitchen operations.
Key responsibilities include managing the restaurant's profit and loss (P&L) statements, forecasting financial objectives, adjusting labor costs, controlling food portions, preparing budgets, and analyzing variances to meet fiscal targets. Effective communication is essential, as the manager must interact professionally and clearly with employees, guests, suppliers, and senior management. Spanish language proficiency is considered a plus but not mandatory. A safe and healthy work environment must be maintained by enforcing sanitation standards and safety procedures.
Physical demands of this job require the employee to sit, stand, or walk up to 10 hours daily, occasionally stooping, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 40 pounds. The restaurant's noise level and temperature are moderate. The salary range for this position is competitive, between $70,000 and $75,000 annually.
