Job Description

Fieldwork Brewing Company is a well-established craft brewery known for its dedication to quality, community, and innovation. Located in Northern California, the company has become a cherished destination for craft beer enthusiasts and food lovers alike. Fieldwork Brewing Company operates several locations, each serving unique menus alongside their award-winning craft beers. The brewery prides itself on fostering a welcoming atmosphere where people can gather to enjoy thoughtfully crafted brews paired with fresh, innovative food offerings. Their commitment to quality and consistency has earned them a solid reputation in the competitive craft brewing industry, with a focus on sustainable practices and supporting the local community.\n\nThe Santa Rosa location, nestled in Montgomery Village, is a vibrant neighborhood spot that highlights handcrafted Neapolitan and Detroit-style pizzas, fresh salads, and shareable small plates, complemented by a curated selection of craft beers and non-alcoholic beverages. Fieldwork Brewing Company is currently seeking a full-time, salaried Kitchen Manager for this location, offering a competitive annual salary between $71,000 and $80,000, based on experience. This role is classified under mid-senior management and requires a hands-on, experienced leader who thrives in a high-volume and quality-driven environment.\n\nAs the Kitchen Manager, you will oversee all culinary operations, ensuring that food preparation, quality, and presentation are consistently aligned with Fieldwork’s high standards. This position requires a dynamic individual who can lead by example—working alongside team members on the line while guiding and developing a diverse kitchen staff, including line cooks and dishwashers. You will be responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and mentoring your team to foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture. A focus on structure, accountability, and operational excellence will be essential to your success in this role.\n\nYou will collaborate closely with front-of-house teams and brewery leadership to maintain a seamless guest experience. Key responsibilities include managing inventory and vendor relationships, controlling food and labor costs, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, and contributing to labor forecasting and scheduling decisions. This role also involves troubleshooting kitchen equipment and supporting special events and brewery-wide initiatives. Fieldwork Brewing Company values leaders who bring innovative solutions, strong organizational skills, and a deep understanding of culinary operations.\n\nIf you are passionate about culinary excellence, enthusiastic about craft beer culture, and eager to lead a dedicated kitchen team in a community-focused setting, this opportunity at Fieldwork Brewing Company’s Santa Rosa location offers a rewarding career path with room to grow in one of Northern California’s most respected craft breweries.
