The successful candidate will lead kitchen operations, ensuring that every dish—from handcrafted Neapolitan and Detroit-style pizzas to fresh salads and shareable small plates—meets the exacting standards that complement the brewery's award-winning craft beer offerings.

In this role, the Kitchen Manager will be hands-on, actively participating in food preparation and service while also managing the critical behind-the-scenes aspects such as inventory control, food costing, vendor relationships, and compliance with health and safety regulations. They will play a crucial role in hiring, training, coaching, and developing a team of line cooks and dishwashers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Collaboration is key, as the Kitchen Manager will work closely with front-of-house staff, the General Manager, and Regional Kitchen Manager to align labor forecasting, scheduling, and financial goals.

The ideal candidate is an organized and detail-oriented leader who understands the intricacies of running a kitchen in a bustling brewery setting. They bring a strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and California health codes, holding or willing to obtain a valid California Food Manager Certification. The position also offers the opportunity to support special events and brewery-wide initiatives, further embedding the Kitchen Manager into the community-driven mission of Fieldwork Brewing Company.
