The Kitchen Manager role at Enmarket is a critical leadership position responsible for managing all aspects of food service operations within the company's stores. This position requires a hands-on manager who is passionate about the foodservice industry and committed to delivering outstanding customer experiences. The Kitchen Manager is accountable for overseeing food production, training team members, maintaining strict food safety standards, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient workflows across the kitchen operation. In this role, the Kitchen Manager will drive the execution of foodservice programs and initiatives, working closely with their team to meet the company’s financial goals and quality standards. They will be responsible for controlling inventory costs, conducting regular audits, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of inventory storage areas. Additionally, the Kitchen Manager will monitor compliance with federal, state, and local regulations concerning food safety, health, sanitation, and environmental safety.
The Kitchen Manager plays an integral role in the hiring, training, and development of the foodservice team. They will ensure proper staffing levels, conduct interviews, and foster a training environment that elevates the skills and knowledge of all team members. Furthermore, the Kitchen Manager will act as the company’s ambassador by communicating and supporting Enmarket’s mission, vision, and values while resolving any customer concerns quickly and professionally.
This position requires flexibility and a strong work ethic, as it involves working a 50-hour week with a schedule that includes weekends and holidays. Physical ability to manage inventory tasks that include lifting up to 40 pounds is also essential. Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years management experience in food service, retail, or restaurant preferred
- Previous experience working in high-volume, guest-focused, transactional environment preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work 50 hours weekly
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to bend, stretch, reach, locate, stack, and lift inventory weighing up to 40 pounds
- Must meet all requirements expected of an Enmarket Store Associate
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Be passionate about foodservice while developing and empowering all team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food safety, training, and execution
- Ensure the company’s foodservice policies/procedures are executed consistently and at the highest level
- Maintain product inventory and ensure proper cleanliness of inventory storage
- Control inventory through conducting weekly cost counts
- Generate, drive, and communicate store sales and financial goals
- Communicate and support the company’s mission, vision, and values
- Resolve customer complaints and/or issues quickly and effectively
- Maintain proper staffing levels, including conducting interviews, hiring, and the training and development of employees
- Ensure environmental safety, health, food safety, and sanitation requirements/procedures are met in accordance with federal, state, local, company standard
- Monitor employee activities and assigned duties in store, including checking of all temperature/tracking logs, proper PPE’s and uniform, dates and rotation of products, and time-temperature processes
- Understand and execute all foodservice recipes and SOPs
- Support the implementation and ongoing execution of new foodservice program rollouts
- All other duties as assigned
