Job Description
Salted is proud to be the largest delivery-first restaurant group in the United States, committed to revolutionizing the dining experience with a focus on clean-label, plant-driven cuisine that doesn't compromise on taste. At Salted, we are dedicated to making better-for-you food accessible to everyone, and we are constantly innovating to shape the future of the restaurant industry. Our team operates out of a vibrant location at 2707 Boston Ave, San Diego, CA, serving up nutritious and delicious meals in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment. We pride ourselves on fostering a culture that values inclusivity, professional growth, and culinary excellence.
The Kitchen Manager role at Salted offers a full-time opportunity with an annual salary of $71,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package. This position is critical to ensuring that our culinary standards remain uncompromisingly high while maintaining smooth and efficient kitchen operations. The role involves preparing and cooking food items to perfection according to Salted's stringent culinary guidelines. You will lead the kitchen team by enforcing precise sanitation regulations and safety standards, ensuring all processes comply with federal, state, and corporate regulations. As Kitchen Manager, your leadership and organizational skills will be pivotal in coordinating with the virtual Front of House team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our customers.
In this leadership position, you will manage all aspects of the kitchen's daily operations, including scheduling, inventory control, financial management, and other administrative duties. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and mentoring staff, nurturing a skilled, motivated, and cohesive team that upholds the Salted standard for culinary excellence. Communication and collaboration with both your team and corporate departments are essential to foster a transparent and productive working environment.
Salted is more than a workplace; it's a community for passionate culinary professionals eager to grow their careers through our performance-based bonus program and profit-sharing opportunities. We support our employees' development with education and career advancement initiatives and ensure a supportive work environment by offering medical, dental, and vision plans for full-time team members. Additional benefits include a 401(k) plan with a 4 percent employer match after one year and free nutritious meals during each shift, reinforcing our commitment to the health and well-being of our team.
By joining our team as a Kitchen Manager, you become an integral part of an innovative culinary journey, leading the charge in the industry with a focus on quality, sustainability, and excellence. This role offers a dynamic, rewarding career path with opportunities to make a real impact in a company that values creativity, integrity, and dedication to exceptional food. If you have a solid foundation of culinary skills, strong leadership experience, and a passion for delivering top-quality food and service, Salted invites you to join us on this exciting journey to redefine the restaurant experience.
