Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least 3 years of experience in a high volume kitchen environment
- ServSafe Certification
- local Health Card as required by jurisdiction
- ability to work at least 45 hours per week including weekends and holidays
- basic computer skills
- strong organizational skills
- excellent communication skills
- ability to lead and coach a team
- ability to work in a fast-paced, moderately noisy restaurant environment
- ability to stand, bend, stoop, twist, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs
Job Qualifications
- At least 3 years of high volume theater, restaurant, or entertainment venue experience
- ServSafe Certification and local Health Cards as required

- proven record of high standards
- ability to work a minimum of 45 hours per week including weekends and holidays
- basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and G-Suite

Job Duties
- Monitor inventory and report results to the General Manager
- develop hourly teams on inventory system utilization
- maintain and control food cost by ordering and receiving products accurately
- utilize PMIX to minimize waste and establish pars and prep lists
- maintain appropriate staffing levels and manage labor budgets
- interview and hire kitchen staff
- participate actively in menu and limited time offer rollouts including planning and training
- manage small ware supplies and ordering
- uphold company’s core values, code of conduct, and operational guidelines
- ensure a safe and sanitary working environment
- maintain and coach recipe adherence, line checks, portion controls, cleanliness, organization, food storage, and sanitation standards
- review ticket times to ensure prompt food delivery
- conduct thorough line checks and temperature logs as coaching tools
- schedule kitchen teams using forecasting and labor proforma tools
- lead by example and facilitate communication across roles
- manage kitchen communications board
- conduct daily shift and team meetings to keep staff informed and engaged
