Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree or certification from culinary school preferred
- minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- in-depth knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods
- ability to work nights and weekends as needed
- excellent verbal and auditory communication skills
- must be responsive and free from sedatives at work
- willingness to disclose prescribed or over-the-counter pharmaceuticals affecting job performance
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- create weekly cook and dough schedules to accommodate business flow needs, individual staff schedules, and labor targets
- follow the Hash Kitchen recipe book with exactness and precision
- lead weekly back-of-house meetings and schedule shift manager and trainer meetings as needed
- work closely with and train cooks and other kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of the food to Hash Kitchen standards
- monitor training processes and meet regularly with trainers to discuss staff member progress and goals
- lead quality control, food safety procedures, and restaurant food safety guidelines
- check and maintain proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points
- monitor and enforce the use of temperature log
- supervise and coordinate activities of cooks or workers engaged in food preparation
- maintain back-of-house facilities and equipment to uphold safety and cleanliness standards of the brand
- communicate with the General Manager when these standards cannot be met
- oversee all product orders and products received
- control food cost and usage by following requisition, storage, standard recipes, and waste control procedures
- perform other duties as required by upper management
