Job Requirements

- Previous food service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restaurant management/POS software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of sanitation and health regulations
- Experience in inventory and cost control management

Job Duties
- Delegate tasks to kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation
- Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations and health and safety procedures
- Train, develop, and create a culture of success among kitchen employees
- Manage daily kitchen operations effectively
- Liaise with contracted companies for food orders
- Interview and hire new kitchen staff
- Maintain and raise food profit margins
- Control back-of-house labor costs
- Monitor and manage stock levels adhering to proper rotation procedures
- Conduct monthly pricing audits and regular inventories
- Maintain and update menu cost analysis and pricing quarterly
- Complete business system financial organization tasks
- Prepare purchase log reports
- Create kitchen schedules based on sales forecasts
- Maintain food quality and presentation standards
