Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of relevant kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • Active ServSafe Management Food Safety Certificate
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen operations
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Proficiency in kitchen related technology such as POS, Ctuit, Hot Schedules
  • Flexible and open availability
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of kitchen manager or executive chef experience in a contemporary full service or fast casual environment
  • Experience in a scratch kitchen approach
  • Coach mentality with dedication to team development and positive work culture
  • Ability to ensure food quality according to recipes and standards
  • Proficiency with POS systems, inventory, and scheduling software
  • Active ServSafe Management Food Safety Certificate
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Flexible availability

Job Duties

  • Lead kitchen operations and manage food preparation according to recipes, portions, and technique
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance of kitchen equipment
  • Mentor, coach, and inspire kitchen staff to create a motivated and productive team
  • Monitor and analyze profit and loss statements and adjust operations proactively
  • Ensure food safety and compliance by maintaining the ServSafe Management Food Safety standards
  • Manage scheduling, inventory, and use of technology such as POS and Hot Schedules
  • Foster a positive work environment that aligns with company culture and standards
