Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in kitchen management, preferably in a hotel environment
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Manage and supervise all kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain consistent quality and standards
  • Coordinate with hotel management and other departments to meet guest expectations and special event requirements
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to maximize profitability
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to improve skills and performance
  • Develop and implement kitchen policies and procedures
  • Handle scheduling and shift management to ensure adequate staffing levels
