The role of Kitchen Manager at Salted is a pivotal leadership position responsible for upholding uncompromising culinary standards and operational excellence within a fast-paced, delivery-driven kitchen environment. This full-time position offers an annual salary of $78,000, alongside comprehensive benefits including performance-based bonuses, profit sharing, and career development opportunities. The Kitchen Manager will oversee the preparation and cooking of food items, ensuring adherence to Salted’s meticulous culinary standards and safety protocols. This role requires close collaboration with the virtual Front of House team to deliver exceptional dining experiences to customers while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and corporate sanitation regulations.

In addition to day-to-day kitchen operations, the Kitchen Manager performs various administrative duties such as scheduling, inventory management, and financial oversight. Recruiting, training, and mentoring kitchen staff to build a skilled and cohesive team are also critical responsibilities. The ideal candidate must have a solid foundation in culinary skills, including knife/prep work and flat-top cooking, with a minimum of 5 years of kitchen experience and at least 2 years in a leadership capacity. Physical endurance and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are necessary, given the demands of the role.
