For over 40 years, it has stood as a beloved hotspot for University of Michigan students, locals, and visitors alike. The establishment operates alongside Cantina and BTB Burrito, also popular regional favorites specializing in Mexican cuisine and burritos. Job Requirements
- Proven management experience in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Must be proficient in and willing to work in all back-of-house operational roles
- Must be a strong leader and great communicator with a positive attitude
- Ability to work 45-55 hours per week including availability for nights and weekends
- Basic proficiency in Google Docs and Sheets is preferred

Job Duties
- Hire train and manage all kitchen staff to ensure high standards from the back door to the expo line
- Cultivate a positive and productive work environment by building trusting relationships and demonstrating a hands-on approach
- Maintain efficiency quality and speed across all three concepts in a high-volume setting
- Establish communicate and ensure consistent guidelines for food preparation execution and presentation
- Systematically control food cost by placing food orders counting and calculating inventory reviewing invoices and pars and working closely with vendors to hit financial goals
- Use 7shifts to create staff schedules optimized for business levels ensuring quality and speed while controlling labor costs
- Maintain strong communication with the Back and Front of House teams during weekly meetings
