Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- One to two years previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in food production
- high school diploma
- some college or degree preferred
- ability to communicate clearly with employees, vendors, and guests
- ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Duties
- Assist the general manager in planning and analyzing administration and operations manpower
- responsible for achieving plan profit levels while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction
- assist in planning and analysis of restaurant unit manpower, ensuring development and training of employees including subordinate managers
- assist general manager in recruitment, training, and new hire orientation
- attend University of Perkins and complete coursework
- achieve and maintain ServSafe certification
- perform and assist in all functions for all positions in the restaurant
- ensure menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented properly in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner
- monitor food temperatures during handling to prevent food-borne illness
- ensure compliance with productivity and service standards by scheduling and staffing well-trained employees
- manage facility and equipment through preventive maintenance, energy conservation, repairs, security, and safety adherence
- maintain inventory levels through correct ordering and efficient usage
- manage accurate financial data including supplies, inventories, food cost, payroll, and operating expenses
- anticipate, identify, and correct system breakdowns
- prepare and review financial reports
- attend restaurant and regional team meetings and present to management as requested
