Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- high school or G.E.D. graduate preferred
- minimum of 2-3 years of kitchen supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred
- completion of three basic courses (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, and MAP Core) within Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program
- completion of basic food handling training and required local or state certifications
- completion of Safe Alcohol Service training if applicable
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- regular and consistent attendance
- energetic and friendly attitude
- excellent guest service
- sensory abilities to detect emergencies
- ability to distinguish product qualities
- finger/hand dexterity
- accurate cash handling and basic math
- strong interpersonal communication skills in English

Job Duties
- Oversees kitchen in multi-faceted restaurant/entertainment scene
- monitors food safety for handling and preparation according to guidelines
- conducts regular line checks, monitors stock levels, and manages inventory to ensure recipe adherence
- schedules and appoints tasks and responsibilities to kitchen staff
- ensures cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen and equipment
- ensures efficient kitchen timing especially during peak hours to assure smooth seat side service
- reports to the General Manager and assists in running a busy, high-volume kitchen
- communicates well with team to ensure guests receive an extraordinary memorable dining experience
- assists in the preparation of administrative and special reports
- works hand-in-hand with management team to drive financial results in the theatre
- ensures kitchen staff follow the dress code
- learns and follows Cinemark’s policies and procedures and enforces these fairly
- reports employee relations issues to General Manager or through proper channels
- follows Employee Relations Reporting Protocol
- maintains a high work ethic and code of conduct
- sanitizes employee and guest high-contact areas consistently
- uses personal protective equipment properly
- adapts to cleaning task requirements
- addresses safety and security issues promptly
- performs other work-related duties as assigned
