Our focus on hospitality and quality service ensures that every guest leaves satisfied, making us a standout destination in the San Antonio dining scene. We embrace innovation in our kitchen practices and prioritize safety and efficiency throughout our operations, fostering an environment where creativity and discipline go hand-in-hand.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house operations. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range from $60,000 to $70,000 annually. The role includes a comprehensive benefits package featuring a bonus incentive of up to 10% of the base salary, health insurance, dental and vision coverage, a 401K plan with company match, and paid time off. The Kitchen Manager will be hands-on in leading and inspiring the kitchen team, maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. This leadership role requires strategic oversight of the entire kitchen operation, including managing inventory, controlling food costs, enforcing safety regulations, and optimizing workflow.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong desire to develop their team members through effective training, coaching, and providing clear accountability. As a key leader in the culinary team, the Kitchen Manager will oversee daily kitchen operations, conduct regular line checks and pre-shift meetings, and ensure team alignment and operational consistency. The role also includes hiring, training, and managing kitchen staff while adhering to labor laws and company policies to create a compliant and efficient workplace.
This position is perfect for a proactive professional passionate about food, people, and performance management. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in back-of-house operations such as prep, grill, expo, and quality control, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of food safety standards and allergy protocols. Experience with inventory systems and cost control is essential to align kitchen operations with budget goals. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Office and quick adaptability to POS, HR, and inventory software is highly valued. Strong communication and organizational skills are required to excel in this role, and Spanish language skills will be considered an advantage. Physical stamina is necessary, as the role demands the ability to stand for long periods and lift items up to 50 lbs.
Joining our team means becoming part of a values-driven company that fosters a culture of urgency, accuracy, teamwork, and continual growth. We support our employees with meaningful benefits and a growth-oriented environment where your leadership can truly make an impact. If you are ready to elevate your career in kitchen management and work with a dedicated team committed to excellence, we encourage you to apply today and be a crucial part of our culinary success story.
