Job Requirements

  • College degree not necessary but preferred
  • Bi-lingual English plus Spanish is required
  • 5 plus years experience in an executive kitchen position
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current restaurant industry trends
  • Must possess culinary creativity
  • High volume foodservice operations experience highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of local state and federal food sanitation regulations
  • Comfortable providing direction and supervision to kitchen staff
  • Food Handler Safe Serv certification is required

Job Duties

  • Interact with customers in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Monitor food standards, costs, and safety regulations
  • Provide leadership and guidance to kitchen staff during shifts
  • Manage kitchen costs, pricing, and work schedules
  • Organize shipments, cleaning schedules, and other operational tasks
  • Resolve conflicts and address customer and employee issues promptly
  • Communicate standards and cooking methods clearly to staff and customers
